DESIGN
Minimalist, elegant and modern, with high-quality materials and attention to every detail. The body is made of smooth, matte black plastic - the data is invisible until you touch the panel to illuminate it. The top of the scale is waterproof (there is no charging port). There is also a physical on/off switch.
The dimensions (152mm x 130mm x 26mm) are perfect for pour-over brewing. You can easily fit a Chemex, drip server or AeroPress.
FUNCTIONS
Time and weight are displayed on an LCD screen hidden under the surface of the panel. Black Mirror has one built-in sensor - it shows the total weight of the water added. 0.1g accuracy and a maximum capacity of 2000g allow it to be used with a variety of coffee makers. Timemore Basic 2 has an additional automatic timer function that starts the timer when the weight is detected. The scale is controlled by two buttons on the touch panel. The battery status is displayed on the battery display. The device automatically turns off after 3 minutes of inactivity.
The flow rate indicator on the Timemore Basic 2 scale allows you to control the pouring technique, making the brewing process more consistent.
OTHER
USB-C charging is another advantage of the scale. It eliminates the battery issue. The 1600 mAh battery lasts for about 24 hours.
