All about the product
Each pixel, consisting of three RGB LEDs, can emit colors from a 24-bit palette. A single microcontroller pin (e.g. Arduino) is sufficient to control the module. The diodes are densely arranged at a distance of about 34mm, due to which there is high brightness. The system is powered by 12V, each meter (7.2W) draws about 0.6A. The circuit can be cut every third diode. The communication protocol used allows the LEDs to be connected in series. Another circuit should be connected to the output connector, connecting 12V, GND and DOUT to DIN, respectively. The manufacturer notes that when using more than 500 diodes, the RAM in the Arduino Uno system may not be enough. It should also be noted that for each subsequent matrix it will be necessary to increase the efficiency of the power source.
