The device is designed to measure soil moisture by capacitive sensing. The DFRobot product has higher water resistance. It can be placed in the soil for a long time without the possibility of corrosion. It operates in a wide voltage range from 3.3 V to 5.5 V and is compatible with Arduino, ESP32, micro:bit or Raspberry Pi.
