The small digital distance sensor measures IR light, and the sensor's operating range is adjustable. The distance at which it can detect objects depends on the color of its surface, from 15 cm to 60 cm for black, and from 40 to 140 cm for white. The sensor is powered by 4.5 V to 5.5 V.Specifications:
