All about the product
PrimaCreator's new powder-coated FlexPlate consists of three parts. The first is a magnetic surface that you attach to the printer platform. The second and third are a high-quality spring steel sheet coated with the finest PEI Ultem sheet.
FlexPlate's powder-coated PEI is a great surface to print on, it's very durable and easy to handle. Best of all, the flexible plate makes it super easy to remove your prints. Just bend it slightly and the print pops right out.
PrimaCreator FlexPlate powder-coated PEI is made with a ferrite core, which is much more heat-resistant than neodymium magnets. This FlexPlate can withstand temperatures up to 130°C without any problems, so you can even use it with ABS.
PEI Ultem (polyetherimide) from PrimaCreator is a reusable, relatively maintenance-free surface for both ABS (with heated platform) and PLA (hot or cold), other materials such as metal, wood, PETG, ABS+ and many others. You do not need any additional glues or tapes. PEI is attractive because of its surface-free preparation, which makes it easy to work with. In addition, when printing on PEI, there is no need for support rafts, as parts stick directly to the surface without any problems.
