LiPo SHIM is a lithium battery power supply module for Raspberry Pi. When designing this module, the manufacturer aimed to make it as compact and reliable as possible, so it has many necessary features:- Can either be soldered directly to the microcontroller or connected to a JST connector that is soldered to the microcontroller
- It uses the Texas Instruments TPS61232 module, which allows for up to 96% energy efficiency, making the set-top box extremely efficient.
- Low battery warning installed
- Automatic shutdown when voltage reaches 3V
- Rubber pads separate the add-on from the microcontroller
- Compatible with Raspberry Pi 3, 2, B+, A+, Zero, and Zero W
- Only 0.8mm thick PCB
- Can supply up to 1.5A current
