SC / APC CONNECTORS
SC connectors are designed for use in telecommunications. They are also used in active devices such as video converters and media. They ensure quick and easy connection and are resistant to connection defects. The shape of the joint allows for easy and safe installation. In addition to telecommunications applications, the SC fiber optic connector is used in LAN and WAN networks, CATV networks, measurement techniques, sensor systems and on railways. The APC connector has a polished end face of the ferrule at an angle of 8 degrees, thanks to which the reflectance phenomenon occurring when the light passes through the interface has a much smaller impact on the attenuation of the connector.
