All about the product
The massive, black case is made entirely of aluminum. It is designed so that when folded, it becomes one large radiator, which, together with the two included fans, allows you to significantly reduce the temperature of the Raspberry. The upper part of the case has milled elements that, through attached thermal pads, contact the processor IHS and memory.
The case design allows for effective cooling and protection of the Raspberry Pi 4 from mechanical damage or accidental short circuits, while ensuring an interesting and aesthetic appearance of the mini computer. The case is secured with screws, so it can be disassembled several times without fear of damaging the structure.
Housing assembly
Before starting the assembly, stick the thermal pads (blue heat-dissipating strips are included in the kit) on the top of the case as shown in the photo. The bottom case plate, together with the Raspberry Pi, must be screwed to the top case using the screws provided.
Fan connection
The fans have a two-pin cable that must be connected to the Raspberry Pi GPIO pins (5V and GND). No soldering is required during installation, the cables come with the appropriate connectors. The correct connection method is shown in the diagram.
