Control Reflections
It is universally recognized that circular polarizing filters (CIR-PL) are used to cut light reflections from non-metallic surfaces. The max point is usually the most commonly used position of the CIR-PL filter when reflections are reduced. However, there are cases where reflections need to be enhanced or adjusted according to the photographer's intentions. With this in mind, we can state that the CIR-PL filter is designed not for cutting reflections but for managing reflections.
Increase Contrast
CIR-PL filters can also enhance the saturation of the sky and tree leaves by reducing light reflections from tiny moisture droplets and dust particles suspended in the air. This brings out white clouds and increases the overall contrast of the image.
The UX II CIR-PL filter can be used with both film and digital cameras. The construction of polarizing filters includes a polarizing film between two glasses, and the front frame is designed to rotate, thus setting the polarizing film at the desired angle.
The threads on the edges allow for the mounting of other filters and lens caps. The thin UX II CIR-PL frame ensures that wide-angle lenses will never vignette.
