CHARACTERISTICS
Insulated copper pipes “TIVENTO” are intended for the distribution of gases or liquid refrigerants R134a, R600, R407, R410, R32 and ester oils. New devices operating with modern refrigerants reach higher temperatures than previous models. They can reach a constant temperature of 100–105 °C. This requires the use of a special insulating cover that can withstand such high parameters. “TIVENTO” uses only cross-linked “TIVENTO FLEX” polyethylene foam for insulating its copper pipes. Thus insulated refrigerant pipes can withstand a constant temperature of 120 °C.

INSULATION - CHARACTERISTICS
Closed-cell polyethylene foam, free from environmentally harmful chlorofluorocarbons (CFC) and hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFC), meets European standard CEE/EU 2037/2000. INTERNAL LAYER λ: 0.0397 W / m°C. THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY: TIVENTO FLEX is closed-cell polyethylene foam. The polyethylene molecules are physically bonded, which means the number of connections between individual molecules is significantly higher than in a material with physically unbonded molecules. Due to this special pore structure, the insulation is very durable and retains its shape longer. When subjected to stress, it absorbs energy and quickly returns to its original shape. The entire insulation is protected by a highly durable, UV resistant LD-PE film.
