The diameter of standard electric screwdriver blades is often too large to reach low-lying screws. Since insulation removal is not allowed and poses a risk to user safety, "Wiha slimTECHNOLOGY" integrates protective insulation into the blades. It has been specially designed for electrical applications, making the blades up to 33% thinner. This means that with "slimBits" it is easy to access low-lying screws and spring elements. Insulated "slimBits" tips are tested separately according to the international IEC 60900 standard, *providing users with a tool to work safely with live parts up to 1000 V AC. The 6 mm "slimBits" tips can only be used with the "slimVario®" bit holder and "slimTorque VDE" bit holder (VDE torque system).
