Product description Knipex cable cutter 95 18 225 VDE StepCut XL is suitable for cutting single-conductor cables made of copper or aluminum up to 35 mm², multi-conductor cables up to 70 mm² and fine-conductor cables up to 120 mm². Power connection, long legs and optimized cutting edges make cutting up to 60% easier than with compact cable cutters. It has two cutting locations: the graduated main cutting edge keeps smaller and larger cables as close as possible to the connectors when cutting, and the front cutting edge is used to gradually separate (gnaw) very large cables. The cutting edges are also laser hardened and the hardness of the cutting edge is approximately 56 HRC. Thanks to the minimal leg width, the StepCut XL VDE cable cutters ensure comfortable one- and two-handed operation, even with large cable diameters, and the pinch protection prevents injuries. Thanks to the insulated multi-component covers, the handles are particularly non-slip and comfortable. Knipex tools with the special symbol 1000 V are approved for operation up to 1000 volts AC.
