All about the product
1. Significantly reduces the attraction of abrasive contaminants, so the chain stays clean longer.
2. Ensures incomparably lower friction of chassis parts.
3. Ensures extremely high mileage between relubrication intervals.
The three ingredients of the elite class lubricant ensure excellent results:
- The highly refined paraffin creates a hard and dry protective coating that repels dirt, removes friction-causing abrasive contaminants with varnish and helps remove chain stains.
- Micron-sized particles of spherical tungsten have a proprietary hollow core to help reduce vibrational friction caused by high torque. The micron-level size and spherical shape of the particles help reduce sliding friction by creating a rolling effect on the chain surface.
- Ceramic boron nitride particles cover the circuit and form a protective non-stick coating. This ceramic coating works in concert with spherical tungsten to significantly reduce wear and help extend the life of transmission components.
Recommended way of use:
- Locate the chain link for quick and easy chain removal (chain link release pliers may be required). Clean and dry the chain completely before first use.
- To melt the wax beads, place the HALO bag in a pot of water ( pot not included ) and bring the water to a boil. Alternatively, pour the pellets into a slow cooker to melt the wax.
- Attach the chain to the immersion tool in the bag. Scan the QR code to find out the best technique.
- Once the wax beads are completely melted, remove the bag and place on a covered work surface.
- Using the dip tool, dip the chain into the melted wax.
- Leave the chain in the wax for at least 3 minutes to fully penetrate all parts of the chain.
- Remove the chain from the hot wax and hang until completely dry (at least 30 minutes). Note: Some wax will drip from the chain.
- After the chain is dry, bend the chain slightly to the sides and chain links before placing the chain on the bike. Note: It is normal for excess wax to peel/fall off
Best practice: Keep maximum temperature no higher than 104°C. Do not use an oven or microwave to melt wax! Avoid exposure to open flames. Wear gloves and goggles. If you need to remove old wax from the chain, use boiling water. Be careful! It's hot! - careless behavior during the waxing process can lead to burns!
