The tapered silicone bristles of the pastry brush are particularly gentle on coatings and help to protect them from scratches. The length of the bristles prevents irritating fat splashes when greasing and marinating. The silicone brush also doesn't fall to pieces when performing your culinary skills. And that's a good thing too! Brushes with natural bristles lose bristles over time, which can end up in your baking tin or icing. This doesn't happen with brushes with silicone bristles. The food safe bristles of the pastry brush are also heat resistant up to 230 °C. Another extremely useful feature: The silicone pastry brush is dishwasher safe. The bright red brush is a real eye-catcher. When not in use, it looks great as a decorative element on your kitchen rail. It can be hung up easily thanks to the hanging hole on the end of the handle.
