How does a smart gas sensor differ from a traditional one? A smart gas sensor will let you know if there is a methane leak in your home, even if you are far away. For people who are often away from home or constantly suffer from the nagging feeling that they might have left the burner on, smart gas sensors provide complete peace of mind. The detector is powered by a cable (230V) with a plug, which means that an electrician will not be needed for its installation. Life time, WiFi signal and alerts are monitored through the mobile application.

Proper installation is essential
Nobody likes false alarms. So that the alarm mode does not activate, for example, when cooking food in the kitchen or lighting a fire in the fireplace, it is worth familiarizing yourself with the installation diagram of the relevant sensors below:
- smoke and high temperature sensor - installation on the ceiling (preferably in the central point of the room)
- carbon monoxide detector – Wall mounting in the range of 70-180 cm (best at eye level for adults)
- natural gas sensor (methane) – installed on the wall no lower than 50 cm from the ceiling
- LPG gas sensor (propane-butane) - fixing to the wall at least 30 cm above the floor
In addition, the so-called dead zone is a place where detectors should not be installed, because they may not work properly or measurements may be falsified.
