Quadralite Hexadecagon 120 Softbox Quadralite Hexadecagon is a softbox that provides very soft and simultaneously easy-to-control light, whether we are working in the studio or outdoors. Its hexadecagonal shape causes reflections in the eyes of the photographed person to be round and natural, which works wonderfully during portrait, fashion, or beauty sessions. Quick and easy to assemble, the Quadralite Hexadecagon is built on a quick-deployment mechanism. This allows it to be efficiently prepared, connected to the lamp, and the session can begin, after which it can be quickly packed away. The softbox is delivered in a convenient cover that facilitates transport and storage. Parabolic The very deep bowl of this softbox, reminiscent of a tulip cup, is one of its essential features. This shape allows the user to very precisely control where the light falls. If necessary, the Hexadecagon can also be used with a grid (available separately). Materials The Hexadecagon is made from the highest quality materials. The cover is made of high-grade nylon taffeta with a rip-stop weave, combining lightness with high mechanical strength. The interior is covered with a silver screen designed to reflect light and evenly distribute it on the diffusers. Double diffuser The softbox is equipped with two diffusion surfaces made of rip-stop polyester. This material has been selected to minimize its impact on the white balance of the light coming from the lamp. The inner diffuser has an additional layer in the central part, which limits the focus of the light from the lamp. Durable The supporting structure of the bowl is made of steel rods, and the mounting ring is made of aluminum. This choice of materials ensures the softbox's long-lasting lifespan while maintaining a low weight. Universal The softbox has a Bowens mount, which means it can be used with many studio lamps - not only Quadralite but also other brands. Thanks to separately available adapters for other systems, the Hexadecagon can also be used with Broncolor, Profoto, and Elinchrome lamps.
