The output stage relies on a low-emission toroidal transformer and provides an impressive 100 watts of RMS power per channel at 4 ohms. Added to this is a virtually overwhelming range of connection options for analogue and digital sources, including Bluetooth aptX. Where necessary, a high-quality Wolfson D/A converter takes care of the signal transformation with up to 192 kHz and 24 bits. A phono pre-amplifier for MM systems, an integrated DAB/DAB+ tuner as well as an FM receiver and a large number of further details make the MR 780 one of the best stereo receivers in this price category. This high standard is clear from the very first glimpse.
