A controller that boosts the voltage from 2.9 to 15 V to a constant 15 V. The system is capable of handling a maximum input current of 10 A, a typical input current brings 8 A for a few seconds, after which the thermal protection mode is activated. It is recommended to use up to 6 A, the converter can operate for many minutes. The output current is a function of the input voltage, output voltage and converter efficiency.
