“Distar Edge” is a disc with a continuous 15 mm high diamond segment and a 10 mm diamond filling. The disc has a very dense layer of diamond grains, with larger grains in the center and finer grains at the edge. The larger size of the diamond grains ensures precise cutting, while the fine grains at the edge polish the material being processed. The segment was arranged using “sandwich” technology, i.e., in layers. Three layers of diamond grains allow for simultaneous cutting and grinding when working with material at a 45-degree angle.
The disc body has been significantly reinforced, making the disc stiffer and keeping it perfectly straight and stable during cutting. The cutting edge thickness is only 1.3 mm, allowing for precise cutting of the material and achieving the highest edge quality.
