All about the product
Shooting with a bow was a highly sought-after and valued skill both on and off the battlefield. Besides hunting, archers were legendary defenders of city fortress walls and those who provided covering fire during battles. The twin gods Apollo and Artemis were masters of archery and patrons of archers. One of the most famous archers was Philoctetes, who carried the mythical bow of Heracles.
The period was marked by fierce local and international wars. The brutality of these conflicts is symbolized by the aggressiveness of the archer (infantry) and the Knight (cavalry). The posture of the king and queen demonstrates their undeniable leadership. The bishop reveals his caution for the impending battle. Ultimately, the castle echoes the column - a key architectural style symbol of that era.
