Feeding instructions

Every dog is unique and individual, so their feeding requirements vary depending on breed, environment, age, and activity. That’s why we recommend using these feeding guidelines as a reference point and monitoring your dog’s weight and adjusting portions as needed. It is recommended to feed them twice a day and always leave fresh clean water available.

When transitioning your dog to a new food, it takes time for their digestive system to adjust to the richer nutrients of Acana dog food. Over a period of 5-7 days, mix smaller portions of Acana food with their regular food, gradually increasing the amount each day. By day 7, you should be able to feed the full Acana food amount.
