All about the product
PET-G V0 is a new addition to Fiberlogy’s FDM/FFF printing material range. It belongs to the FR (flame retardant) filament family and is non-flammable according to the UL94 V0 standard*. Both the filament itself and the prints made from it are not sensitive to direct flame – upon contact with fire, PET-G V0 self-extinguishes in less than 10 seconds. This property makes it ideal for the production of electronic housings or vehicle and mechanical components. Despite its properties, PET-G V0 is as easy to print as traditional PET-G. It does not require a closed printer or a hardened nozzle. However, it is important to remember that for the highest print quality, it is worth drying the filament properly before use. PET-G V0, like other copolyesters, is very hygroscopic, meaning it absorbs moisture from the environment. Prints made from wet filament can become brittle and unaesthetic.
