TECHNOLOGIES
MIPS – This acronym stands for "Multi-Directional Impact Protection System", and is an innovative technology that can be used in helmets for a variety of purposes. MIPS was developed to make helmets safer from diagonal impacts, both in leisure and outdoor sports (mountaineering, mountain biking and motorcycling) and in the workplace. MIPS is a movable layer integrated into the inside of a safety helmet - close to the head. The sliding layer is not rigidly attached, but can move back and forth by 10-15 millimeters. In the event of a side impact, this range of motion allows the helmet structure to deflect the applied rotational force away from the user's head and brain in a sliding motion. Therefore, safety helmets with the MIPS system provide a higher level of protection for the helmet user than conventional helmets.
DOUBLE MOLDING TECHNOLOGY – The protective EPS material is molded directly into the polycarbonate shell and covered from below with an additional polycarbonate shell. This technology allows you to create a lightweight, yet extremely strong helmet. The polycarbonate shell from below provides additional protection. EPS is a special material with microscopic air bubbles – it effectively absorbs the impact energy experienced in a fall.
ANATOMICAL IAS – With this technology, the size of the UVEX helmet can be easily and precisely adjusted with one hand by turning the wheel on the back of the helmet. Set the most comfortable position of the helmet according to the circumference of the head. The vertical position can also be adjusted!
MONOMATIC EASY-FITTING SYSTEM – The anatomical buckle design allows you to easily unfasten and fasten the helmet with one hand! The length of the strap is gradually adjusted. There is a chin pad that provides additional comfort.
FAS STRAPS – A strap adjustment system that allows you to easily adjust the position of the straps to suit your body shape. The straps are adjustable in several places.
VENT PADDING – The inner part of the helmet affects comfort. Vent padding is made of high-quality moisture-wicking material with special ventilation channels. The padding is comfortable, does not irritate the skin, dries quickly, and can be removed and washed.
Before purchasing, measure your head circumference to choose the right size helmet. It is recommended to measure with a string ~1.5 cm above the ears.
