„Ajax WaterStop“
Remote-controlled water shut-off valve

No drop problems
The „Ajax WaterStop“ automatically shuts off the water in a location with an “Ajax” security system within 7 seconds if the “LeaksProtect” or other manufacturers’ water leak detectors are triggered. The device combines a high-quality valve with a powerful electric actuator. You can control the „Ajax WaterStop“ and check its status from anywhere in the world - all you need is an internet connection and the “Ajax” app. You can also create a scenario for the water to be turned off at a specific time.

Water shut-off within 7 seconds
The „Ajax WaterStop“ has a powerful actuator with a torque of 8.5 N-m. This is enough to shut off even a stuck valve without risking damage. Under normal operating conditions, the „Ajax WaterStop“ closes the water within 7 seconds after a command or automatically according to a scenario when the “LeaksProtect” or another sensor detects water flooding. With a ¾ inch pipe and 2.5 bar pressure in the water supply system, less than 1 liter of water will flow out.
In the water leak prevention system based on “Ajax,” each device operates from pre-installed batteries or has a backup power source in case of a power outage. The system monitors the location 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, ensuring you can be completely assured that your property is protected.

Protection
The „Ajax WaterStop“ is suitable for controlling both hot and cold water supply and is ready to operate under challenging conditions. For added protection, the „Ajax WaterStop“ withstands surges and notifies about overheating, so even if the shut-off valve is stuck, the electric drive cannot fail.

“One-stop” products made of solid brass
The „Ajax WaterStop“ is available in three versions with different valves: ½” (DN 15), ¾” (DN 20), or 1” (DN 25). These are the most commonly used sizes that meet any needs - from residential to commercial properties. Additionally, the electric drive of the „Ajax WaterStop“ is compatible with all ball valves that meet the ISO 5211 standard.

Easy installation
Advanced technical and software engineering has allowed the implementation of advanced capabilities in a compact-sized device with high autonomy. The miniature „Ajax“ water leak detectors are suitable for hard-to-reach places and do not require disassembly of the housing - they can be installed on a horizontal surface without fastening. The shut-off valve is installed together with the existing plumbing system. The drive unit does not require wiring, as it is suitable for limited spaces and has four possible mounting positions in the valve installation line.

Batteries
There is no need to lay additional cables: the „Ajax WaterStop“ is autonomous and does not depend on the 110 or 220 V~ network. With a 3-year battery lifespan and no wires, the installation process takes much less time and effort. The “Ajax” app will notify users in advance about the battery level running low. The batteries are replaceable - so after three years, a plumber can install new ones, and the „Ajax WaterStop“ continues to operate as usual.

External power supply
When continuous operation of the shut-off valve is required, or extreme temperatures prevail at the installation site, the batteries may discharge faster. The ability to connect a 9-12 V⎓ power supply will be useful, eliminating the need to frequently replace batteries and reducing maintenance costs. Additionally, the pre-installed batteries will serve as a backup option, ensuring the „Ajax WaterStop“ continues to operate without issues even during a power outage.

Unique Wireless Technology
The “Ajax” system employs a two-way secure radio communication based on the patented “Jeweller” protocol. The system supports block cipher encoding and device authenticity verification in every session with the hub to prevent malicious attacks, spoofing, or data theft.
Ajax wireless technology boasts a radio signal range of up to 1,100 meters in open space, making it generally longer than competing solutions from different manufacturers. Automatic power adjustment allows for efficient energy use, as system devices do not constantly use the maximum power of the radio transmitters. Additionally, it is more stable since it utilizes less noisy radio frequencies. To protect against radio interference and signal takeover, Ajax hubs employ frequency hopping: the system automatically switches frequencies within the bandwidth and notifies users of any disruptions.

Comprehensive and Versatile System
Use the “ReX” range extender under challenging radio signal conditions, such as large homes with thick walls or warehouses with multiple buildings. “ReX” increases the operating radius of all Ajax devices and manages their connection to the hub via “Jeweller.” The “ReX 2” ensures stable connectivity even through steel and concrete via Ethernet, using a wired connection as an additional communication channel. Up to 5 range extenders can operate in a single Ajax system to double the network size and cover underground parking lots, basements, and metal sheds.
