Saramonic VWS The Saramonic VWS is a fully assembled windscreen for the SR-TM1 and SR-TM7 shotgun microphones. It can also be used for microphones up to 395 millimeters in length. An excellent solution for advanced film and television production. The VWS is equipped with a "shock mount" system that ensures a comfortable microphone suspension and the necessary isolation from unwanted vibrations. The system consists of a one-piece thermoplastic construction that improves suspension compared to other solutions. A high-quality XLR plug/XLR internal cable is recessed inside the shell, which runs through the aluminum shell handle to the elastic suspension. This feature of the cover also eliminates the transmission of vibrations to the microphone. The entire body is made of high-quality plastic covered with a thin layer of flexible material. As a result, it does not in any way negatively affect the sound quality, while at the same time facilitating the operator's work. There are two domes on the front and back of the housing that can be easily assembled and disassembled to position the microphone properly. At the bottom of the lid there is an aluminum handle with 1/4" and 3/8" thread and two knobs that are responsible for adjusting the lid 180 degrees left and right. The handle is attached to a special cover sled, so it can be freely set at a distance of 18.5 cm.
