Features The Limetree PHONO has two separate input stages that are perfectly suited to the type of pickup in question. This ensures maximum sound quality when using MM and MC cartridges. Installation is very easy: plug and play! Only the MC has a variable input impedance setting from 50 to 400 ohms. The measured PHONO values are exceptionally good in all areas. Noise and distortion values are at the limit of resolution. In short: the sound quality and technology of this amplifier is in a class of its own. Rediscover your LP sound! MADE IN EUROPE Limetree PHONO technology is based on the circuit principle from the time of tube amplifiers. However, this concept is completely reinterpreted with the latest technology and components. The two-stage circuit with a passive RIAA network uses the best J-FET amplifiers on the market today for equalization, and extremely high-quality resistors and capacitors from Japan. The MC also uses the world's best amplifier module, combining exceptional measurement values with excellent sound. Purely passive equalization has a decisive advantage: distortions in the bass range are much lower than in conventional circuits. The power supply uses a "medical grade" plug-in power supply that provides extremely high isolation from interference in the power system. Together with complex filtering in the device and special voltage regulators, it was possible to implement an ultra-low-noise power supply with noise values below 10 µV.
