Z9 - THE IDEAL CASE For the Z9 Iceberg, Zalman offers a wide and detailed midi tower. The case has plenty of space for high-performance equipment and large radiators. Three additional expansion slots allow vertical installation of graphics cards. The embedded elements can be admired on the large tempered glass side panel, and many ventilation holes ensure good air flow. EXTENDED COOLING OPTIONS The ičbergo Z9 was equipped with a wide option for installing case fans. In total, the case can accommodate seven 120 or six 140 mm fans: three 120 or 140 mm fans in the front, three 120 or two 140 mm fans in the lid, and one 120 or 140 mm in the rear wall. The front can be equipped with two large 200mm fans for high airflow at low speeds. Processor coolers must be operated at a maximum height of 185 mm. Two 140mm fans are installed from the factory. If you want to install a custom or full liquid cooling system instead, the Z9 Iceberg has many options: a triple 360 or double 240 can be mounted on the front and on the lid, and a single radiator can be mounted on the rear wall 120mm or 140 mm apart. This means that even heavily rotating systems are effectively cooled and run at low temperatures, even under constant load. Dust filters are integrated into the top plate and under the power supply socket for easy cleaning. PLENTY OF SPACE FOR YOUR DATA Iceberg from Zalman offers the possibility to adapt many drives. The supplied modular drive cage consists of two 3.5″ or 2.5″ microdrives that can be moved to the power supply if needed. This makes it possible to install particularly large radiators with a length of up to 360 mm. Power supplies up to 270 mm long can be installed in the standard configuration HDD cage. If the radiator is not installed there, a place for power sources of 390 mm length is created. Two additional 3.5″ or three 2.5″ microdrives can be installed at the back of the motherboard tray. The I/O Zalman Z9 Iceberg panel features two USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, as well as one USB 3.1 Type-C port. There are two Jack 3.5mm sockets, one used as an audio output and the other as a microphone. In addition to the setting and power button (with hard disk monitoring diode), there is also a light emitting diode (LED) lighting control button. The rectangular design with slanted surfaces is stylish while offering wide openings for side vents. The left side panel is made of tempered glass and provides an uninterrupted view of the embedded equipment. The body is completely white to match everything. The power supply socket ensures internal order and perfectly hides the power supply and its cables. The back of the motherboard has three snaps on the rivers and several openings for convenient cable management. The back of the case has seven horizontal slots for expansion cards. Graphics cards no longer than 390 mm can be installed here. The Iceberg Z9 has an adjustable graphics card support to prevent particularly heavy cards from hanging. In extreme cases, the radiator can be disconnected from the printed circuit board. As an alternative, the graphics card can also be installed in the three vertical expansion slots. Combined with a side wall made of tempered glass, it really works.
