Blackmagic Video Assist 7 12G HDR is a professional monitor for monitoring and recording footage in all HD, Ultra HD, 2K and 4K DCI formats! The ultra-bright 2500 nit 7-inch HDR monitor supports 3D LUTs and features powerful tools to help you fine-tune focus, exposure and shots. Dual built-in SD card recorders save files from any camera in 10-bit 4:2:2 ProRes or DNx formats. The monitor features two mini XLR connectors with 48V phantom power and -128dBV noise level for crystal clear audio recording. Plus, you can start editing right away because you don't have to convert files!

Blackmagic Video Assist 7 12G HDR connectors

Blackmagic Video Assist 7 12G records using two high-speed UHS-II SD slots to SDHC/XC memory cards. You can also use the USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port to write to an external drive. You can also use this port to configure and update your monitor. Video recordings are made using standard Apple ProRes (HQ, 422, LT or Proxy) and Avid DNxHD and DNxHR codecs.

Blackmagic Video Assist 7 12G HDR measurements

The monitor's on-screen interface allows you to adjust settings and access important features such as histogram, waveform, vector targeting, and many more tools. There is also a light on the top of the monitor to indicate when it is working and recording. There is a 12 V power adapter to power the monitor. It also has dual battery slots on the back so the monitor can be powered using Sony's L-series type batteries.
