All about the product
The UV filter is a commonly used transparent filter that helps absorb ultraviolet light. Does not have any additional colors or contrast that allow you to associate this filter with others.
The UV filter is also useful as a general protective filter that can always be left on the lens. Filters help reduce the ingress of dust and moisture into the lens element and provide additional protection to the lens from scratches.
The HOYA UV (C) filter uses the highest quality heat-resistant tempered glass to create a smooth, clear image. These popular filters are famous for their ability to reduce reflections on the filter surface, which reduces reflections and ghosts. The average light transmittance exceeds 97%, so HOYA HMC filters are designed to improve the performance of multilayer lenses today.
