This installation cable, marked SXKD-5E-FTP-PE-SAM, is a self-supporting shielded CAT5E cable with a polyethylene jacket designed for outdoor installation. The cable is intended for outdoor installations where a standard PVC or LSOH jacketed data cable does not provide sufficient protection against environmental effects. This cable also features a supporting steel wire embedded in separate insulation, which allows this cable to be used as a self-supporting up to 70 m distance. Together with other Solarix structured cabling system components, it creates a solution that ensures long service life, maximum performance, and smooth computer network operation. Solarix category 5E installation cables are designed for horizontal distribution and are offered in shielded and unshielded variants with different jacket types, such as PVC, LSOH, or UV resistant PE. These cables perfectly meet the requirements of international standards ANSI/TIA/EIA 568, ISO/IEC 11801, and EN 50173 category 5E and are also suitable for data transmission speeds of up to 1 Gbps (i.e., gigabit Ethernet). Like other Solarix cables, the SXKD-5E-FTP-PE-SAM cable is marked with meter markings at 1 m intervals from 0 to 305 m. The cable is supplied on a high-strength wooden reel, which provides all the necessary product information, including barcodes, batch, description, and key technical parameters (e.g., NVP in the form of a QR code).
