Aqara U200 smart door lock Matter, Apple Home white (EL-D02DW)

The Smart Lock U200 smart lock kit consists of an outdoor unit and an indoor unit (and their accessories). The two devices communicate with each other wirelessly. The indoor unit, which turns the cylinder lock, must be installed on the protected side (inside), and the keypad must be installed outside the door. The U200 has a modified design that allows for effortless installation on existing doors without requiring major modifications or upgrades. It is compatible with most European doors, including various types of European cylinders. The U200 aims to bring a modern keyless lifestyle to many homeowners and renters, while preserving the ability to use traditional keys. Users can enjoy easy access sharing, remote access control, and real-time lock status updates for greater convenience and security. The Aqara U200 uses modern technical solutions that provide users with multiple secure access options. The door can be opened using fingerprints (up to 50 saved fingerprints), one-time and recurring PIN codes, remote or local access via mobile apps, voice assistant commands, or Aqara NFC cards. Aqara is also working on adding HomeKey support to the U200 lock, which will allow iOS users to unlock the door with a simple tap on compatible iPhones and Apple Watches. The U200 is one of the first locks compatible with Matter, making it a good choice for users. The keypad (outdoor unit) can be powered by 4 AAA batteries or a fixed 12-24V AC or DC power supply. The indoor unit runs on a lithium-ion battery, which can be charged via a USB Type-C connector under a snap-on decorative cover. Thanks to the energy-saving Thread protocol, the U200 lock can offer up to 6 months of battery life between charges (8 fingerprint unlocks/NFC unlock and lock cycles per day). In addition, the wireless keypad has an IPX5 rating and can withstand extreme heat and cold (-18℃ - 66℃), offering a wide range of application possibilities. As an integral part of the home, the U200 smart lock effectively cooperates with other smart home accessories, allowing users to create a fully automated and personalized smart home experience. For example, using the alarm functions of the Aqara app, interactions can be created when a family member unlocks the U200 or activates the camera and video doorbell after consecutive unsuccessful unlock attempts. The U200 can be paired with the Aqara Home app via Bluetooth or the Aqara Hub M3 control center. Compatibility with third-party platforms compatible with Matter (e.g. Amazon Alexa, Apple Home, Google Home, Samsung SmartThings, Home Assistant) is expected to be built in cycles. HomeKey unlock support is currently in development and is expected to be available in a future OTA update once the lock receives certain certifications. Restrictions apply.
