Crash-tested footrest for car seats
The height- and angle-adjustable KneeGuardKids4 footrest gives little legs hanging from the car seat a place to rest their feet. The support, which is compatible with forward-facing car seats, enables the child to easily correct their sitting position even on long journeys. Resting your feet on the footrest reduces the need to kick the back of the front seat and improves blood circulation to your feet, which are otherwise hanging in the air. The telescopic footplate is height-adjustable, meaning you can raise and lower it according to the child's height. In addition to this, the corner of the footrest can be turned towards the seat, allowing the ankles to rest on the journey as well. As an important additional feature, the footrest is also crash tested, which means you can have peace of mind when using the product.
Compatible with forward-facing car seats. The exception is models with footrests already integrated into the car seat, which take up the same legroom as KneeGuardKids4 uses.
Three advanced features:
- Ergonomic sitting position : Supporting the legs of a child sitting in a car seat improves the sitting position and allows changing the position of the legs during the journey. Supporting the dangling legs against the stand reduces pressure on the flexors and legs and improves blood circulation. The footrest also prevents the child from slipping in the seat's 5-point harness, and by keeping the seat's headrest and cushions always at the right height. The supported legs also reduce unnecessary kicking of the front seat.
- Adjustable footrest: the footrest is compatible with forward-facing car seats up to about 10 years of age. The footrest can be supported in the car with or without ISOFIX anchors. The crash-tested footrest does not harm a child sitting in a car seat in the event of a collision.
