The Airam SmartHome Fire Alarm is a wireless fire alarm and it works like a normal optical fire alarm, even without the SmartHome application. When smoke is detected, the fire alarm will sound a loud alarm. If the device is added to the Airam SmartHome application, you will also receive a notification about the alarm on your phone. If there is smoke in the apartment, e.g. due to cooking food, the smoke alarm can be silenced using the button on the alarm. The fire alarm cannot be silenced via the app. The smoke detector should be installed in the middle of the ceiling of the room as much as possible, in every room of the home, in the bedroom, on exit routes and staircases. SmartHome smoke detectors cannot be chained together.
