The DIGITUS Gigabit PoE+ Extender, uses the advanced network cable and power technology to extend your Ethernet signal up to 100m per unit (total 500m). The Extender is self powered by PoE, so there is no additional power supply needed. This enables you to use the device even where no power lines or outlets are available. You can greatly extend the transmission distance and providing PoE at the same time. It is for example a perfect, inexpensive and time saving solution for security cameras.
