Types of cooker hoods

Wall-mounted hoods sit above the hob against the wall and remain the most common choice. Ceiling or island hoods suit kitchens where the hob stands in the middle of the room. Built-in (integrated) hoods tuck away inside a cabinet and stay almost invisible, while standard visor hoods are a simple, budget-friendly option. Accessories make up a separate group: charcoal and grease filters, ducting and non-return valves.
