IFA 2026 in Berlin showed that home gadgets are growing "limbs": the Hengbot Sirius robot dog, about 1 kg, learns to move its paws, while the DJI ROMO 2 (P2 - 1299 €, A2 - 1199 €, 36,000 Pa suction) got a mechanical mop arm. The new products will not reach Estonia right away, but similar models are already in stock at cybermarket.ee. Data as of October 2026.
The short version
- Hengbot Sirius is a home robot dog you train "like a real dog"; sources give no European price, and by class it sits closer to a flagship smartphone.
- DJI ROMO 2 launched on 3 September 2026: the P2 with a transparent body costs 1299 €, the white A2 - 1199 €; pre-order prices were 1059 € and 1049 €.
- Belkin showed power banks with BoostSolid Cell semi-solid batteries at IFA: 5000 and 10,000 mAh.
- A robot vacuum with an "arm" is already sold in Estonia: Roborock Qrevo Curv with FlexiArm for 1474.96 €.
- Among robot dogs, Unitree Go2 is in stock: Air for 2869 €, Pro for 5257 €.
What is the Hengbot Sirius robot dog and how is it different from a toy?
Hengbot Sirius is a four-legged home robot weighing just over a kilogram. The owner teaches it to move its paws like a living dog. Sirius runs on a removable 2250 mAh battery with 30 W PD charging. Developers get Python, C, C++ and ROS 2; everyone else gets the Creator Studio editor, with no coding needed. The project raised more than 308,000 dollars on Kickstarter.
Its character is set in a visual editor: the robot can adopt the habits of a husky, corgi or border collie. Thanks to an OpenAI language model, its personality develops gradually. Reviewers advise children to play with Sirius under adult supervision: moving joints and falls are a real risk, and voice commands are not always recognised accurately.
How much does Hengbot Sirius cost in Europe?
No official European price for Hengbot Sirius could be found in the sources. In the US the base version costs about 1300 dollars, higher trims cost more, so in euros expect top-smartphone territory. Check the exact price on the Hengbot site before ordering.
How does DJI ROMO 2 differ from the previous generation and from competitors?
The DJI ROMO 2 robot vacuum series was shown at IFA 2026 and went on sale on 3 September: the P2 with a transparent body costs 1299 €, the white A2 - 1199 €. Suction grew from 25,000 to 36,000 Pa, and the body has a hardware privacy switch. Functionally the models are identical and differ only in looks. ROMO 2 is covered in detail in a separate blog article; here is a short look at how it compares with the rest.
DJI is not the only one with an arm: cybermarket.ee carries the Roborock Qrevo Curv with the FlexiArm floor-washing system and a dust collection station. From the previous DJI line, the ROMO A (water tank version, white) is sold for 1005.45 €, 10 pcs in stock.
Which other IFA 2026 novelties are worth noticing?
Besides robots, the show featured some very practical things.
- Belkin UltraCharge Pro: power banks with BoostSolid Cell batteries. The technology is semi-solid: a gel layer sits next to the liquid electrolyte, for safety and a thin body. The 5000 mAh model is 8.8 mm thick, with 15 W Qi2 magnetic charging. The 10,000 mAh model delivers up to 60 W over USB-C and has a display. Sales started in September; ask Belkin for European prices.
- Anker Nano Universal Charger: a 100 W charger with built-in US, UK and EU plugs and ports for 4 devices at once.
- Lenovo IdeaPad Vibe: an affordable laptop in seven colours on Snapdragon X or Ryzen AI 400.
- Dreame Aqua 20 Pro Ultra Roller X: a robot vacuum with 40,000 Pa suction that crosses thresholds up to 10 cm.
- Mind With Heart Robotics AnAn: a plush panda companion, expected in Europe from September 2026.

Should you wait for the new products or buy what is available?
If you need a robot vacuum now, there is no reason to wait for ROMO 2. The generations differ in power (36,000 vs 25,000 Pa) and privacy, and current models handle ordinary cleaning just fine.
