Black ASA plastic made by Rosa3D. It shrinks only slightly during printing, and the resulting fumes are less noticeable than when using traditional ABS. The main feature of ASA thermoplastic is its high resistance to UV rays, heat and moisture. It can be used outdoors in variable weather conditions. The diameter of the plastic is 1.75 mm. The weight of the material wound on spools is 0.70 kg.


Main features:
  • ASA (acrylonitrile - styrene - acrylic) plastic with high resistance to UV rays, moisture and heat. It can be used in various weather conditions
  • ASA shrinks less than the popular ABS. It also emits fewer irritating fumes when printed.
  • Thermoplastic shows no signs of deformation up to a temperature of approximately 94 °C
  • ASA is a material often used in the automotive and marine industries. This thermoplastic is used to make components such as mirror and sensor housings, covers and radiator caps.
  • Adhesion of the first coat can be improved by using a small amount of ASA dissolved in acetone.
  • It is recommended to print this material in a closed chamber
