Arduino RS485 add-on from DFRobot, designed to allow Arduino Uno to communicate using the RS485 standard signal. RS485 is a popular signal transmission standard in the manufacturing industry, which allows for reliable signal transmission over extremely long distances, often found in modern manufacturing machines and other automation. The module communicates with Arduino via the UART/Serial (RX/TX) interface, converting the signal to RS485 itself.

Features and technical data:
● Has 3 connectors for RS485 standard: regular RS485, mini RS485 and M-type connector
● The free space on the adapter has solder pads, so you can solder additional components. The pads are gold-plated for good contact
● You can choose between manual and automatic transmission mode.
● The module communicates with Arduino via UART/Serial (RX/TX) interface, converting the signal to RS485.
● Built-in module power-off button, so you don't have to remove the module to program Arduino
● Built-in LED light to indicate the signal status
