The i-Spin XL is another new addition to the Joie car seat range - suitable for children from birth to around 12 years, from 40 to 150 cm tall . It may be the only car seat you will ever need for your child. Its great advantage is that it can be used rear-facing up to 105 cm tall , which is around 4 years old.

The Joie i-Spin XL is a rotating seat integrated with a rotating Isofix base with 360-degree rotation . The modern, reinforced construction of the Joie seat provides safety and comfort for everyday car trips with your child. The i-Spin XL has the three-layer Tri-Protect headrest , typical of Joie seats, adjustable in a range of 12 steps , and 5 seat recline options for both rearward and forward travel.

The Joie i-Spin XL is mounted on an Isofix base and, from the age of 15 months, allows parents to consciously choose the direction of travel.

Seat use depending on the passenger's age/height:

• 0-15 months - rear-facing only, Isofix base, child secured with 5-point internal seat belt, rotation function on the base;
• 40-105 cm / approximately 0-4 years - possibility of transporting backwards for 4 years of the child's life, Isofix base, the child is fastened with a 5-point internal seat belt, rotation function on the base;
• 76-105 cm - the seat can be turned forward, Isofix base, the child is fastened with a 5-point internal seat belt, rotation function on the base;
• 100-150 cm - forward-facing installation, Isofix base, the child is fastened with a 3-point car seat belt, there is no rotation function on the base.

Characteristic features

The Joie i-Spin XL is an i-Size car seat for children from 40 to 150 cm tall. This means that your child can use this solution for the entire journey, from birth to around 12 years and, according to the standard weight groups, from 0 to 36 kg. The Joie i-Spin XL allows you to carry your little one rear-facing most of the time.

We all know that the longer a child travels rearward, the better for their safety. The Joie i-Spin XL is a seat that, thanks to its modern design, blocks the possibility of turning the seat forward until a height of 75 cm, meaning that for the first 15 months of life the child can only travel rearward . Joie recommends extending this period by allowing the child to travel rearward until a height of 105 cm , using the seat's internal 5-point harness.

The modular design of the seat allows it to be adapted to the child at every stage of development. For newborns and infants , the 3-piece "Grow-with-me" insert is useful, consisting of three separately removable elements. This allows the insert to be removed in parts, individually adjusting it to the child's body.

The headrest of the seat can be adjusted in 14 steps , simultaneously with the seat belts, based on the Grow Together system. When you raise the headrest, the space in the seat expands thanks to the automatic adjustment system. This gives your little one more space around the neck and shoulders.

The innovative Joie i-Spin XL seat headrest is designed with Tri-Protect technology. The name Tri-Protect stands for triple protection, and it's no coincidence. The headrest consists of three layers , including a patented Intelli-Fit memory foam layer . This headrest design provides good protection for the child's head and neck in the event of a side impact. The headrest foam absorbs impact energy well .

The Joie i-Spin XL seat reclines in 5 positions : from a sitting position to a horizontal, more lying position. The recline of the seat, regardless of the direction of rotation of the seat, promotes comfort anytime and anywhere, regardless of the child's stage of development, the direction of travel, the duration of the trip and the passenger's activity during it.

The offered Joie seat is covered with a soft, plush, luxurious fabric . The specificity of this fabric is that it insulates from the cold in winter, and in summer allows the child's skin to breathe. As a result, your little one sits comfortably and cozy in the seat, maintaining the highest comfort regardless of the season. The seat has ventilation on the sides and back , so fresh air constantly enters the seat.

Special side seat panels ensure that the child is even better protected from the consequences of a side impact. The panels absorb the impact energy and are therefore not directed towards the passenger. Guard Surround Safety side protection is a patented safety system available in Joie seats.

The steel-reinforced shell of the seat provides additional protection for the child traveling in it, increasing the structural integrity of the seat in the event of a collision.

The 5-point safety harness in the seat has shoulder pads and a crotch strap pad , which ensure that the straps are securely fastened without harming the child's well-being. The straps can be tightened with one hand .

We can help ourselves when putting our child in the seat - magnetic belt holders ensure that when the cushions are attached to the seat, the belts remain in one point. This allows us to comfortably put our child in the seat without removing the belts from underneath.

When switching to high seat mode, we remove the 5-point harness and secure the child with the car seat belt. The harness storage compartment allows you to move them to a permanent, safe location.

The Joie i-Spin XL is a modern car seat that is available on a rotating Isofix base. The 360-degree rotation allows you to easily change the direction of travel and simplifies the process of preparing your child for a trip in a parent seat. The Isofix base on the Joie seat has a stabilizing leg , which, thanks to the 21-step height adjustment , allows you to properly attach the seat to the car seat.
