PrimaSelect NylonPower fiberglass is the latest high-performance plastic for your 3D printer. The 3D printing material is made from nylon 12 and is 16% reinforced with fiberglass. This composition results in an optimally resistant plastic. Nylon fiberglass plastic is perfect for additive manufacturing of automotive components, drone structures and RC parts.PrimaSelect NylonPower fiberglass is a highly useful material with unique properties. In this plastic, nylon is reinforced with small, chopped strands of fiberglass. PrimaSelect NylonPower plastic offers incredible stiffness, structure and excellent layer adhesion.
In addition, NylonPower is very easy to process and has a matte surface. Excellent 3D prints are very stiff and ideal if you need an object with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio. To process PrimaSelect NylonPower plastic, use a heated build platform set to 60 ˚C to ensure good adhesion of the first layer to the build platform.
Due to the extremely abrasive properties of PrimaSelect NylonPower (the tip wears out quickly due to friction), we recommend using a hardened steel tip for this plastic. Using a regular brass tip is not a problem, but the tip will wear out in a short time. PrimaSelect NylonPower adheres to glass coated with adhesive.
