The Arduino extension board expands the input/output pins. Each pin can be connected to a VCC and GND pair. Separate connectors allow for easy connection of SD cards, APC220 radio modules, Bluetooth, servo and RS485 modules, and a dedicated XBee module slot provides easy installation of a wireless communication system. The switch allows the user to change the XBee, RS485 or download operating modes, eliminating the need to remove the modules from the boards when uploading the Arduino program. In addition, the V6 version supports the URM04 interface and Arduino pin R3.
