Copper and hardened vanadium steel tip for high flow applications with abrasive materials. Increase the max. volume flow of the RepRap M6 style heating block by 50%. Tip comes in a nickel finish (grey).
Bondtech CHT tips break the plastic into 3 thinner strands, allowing it to melt the material from the inside out. This way the material melts faster and a higher flow rate can be used.
3D printer nozzles made of metal with at least one or many holes increase the surface area of the heating walls.
Our plated brass tips are nickel plated to protect against corrosion, erosion and wear. Nickel plated tips are more resistant to corrosion and have a lower coefficient of friction, resulting in smoother material feed and slower plastic adhesion to the tip surface.
