This is a coated wear resistant tip for the Artillery Sidewinder. It has fine M6x.75mm threads. The tip is made from 360 brass base material and is coated with TwinClad XT. TwinClad XT is a nickel composite coating designed to provide very low friction. It has one of the lowest coefficients of friction, better than nickel with PTFE. This coating is also very hard and wear resistant. If you are working with abrasive carbon fiber, stainless steel, wood or other metal filled plastics, this coating will improve the life of the tip.
