PolyLite PLA is a high-quality PLA designed for reliability and ease of printing. The Starlight series features a visible color change effect depending on the light reflection.
PolyLite PLA is based on high molecular weight Natureworks PLA, making it one of the stiffest PLA materials on the market. You can check PolyLite PLA Young's modulus and flexural strength data in its TDS, which shows its stiffness, and compare it to other materials in our range.
Polymaker Jam-Free technology increases the heat resistance of the plastic itself (not the printed part) to 140 ˚C. This avoids any jamming issues due to the problem of hot end heat creep. Heat creep is the process where heat spreads unevenly throughout the hot end, softening the plastic before it enters the melting chamber and expanding in the cold end. Increasing the heat resistance of the plastic from 60 ˚C to 140 ˚C ensures that the filament does not jam.
