Updated design and new features

The Dräger Alcotest 6000 replaces the popular Alcotest 5820 model. After improving the predecessor, the design has been updated, the measurement memory has been expanded, bluetooth connection is optionally available.

With the Dräger Alcotest® 6000, a breath alcohol concentration test can be performed quickly and accurately. The measurement technology implemented in this small and user-friendly portable measuring device has already been proven in practice in more than 200,000 devices used worldwide.

Breath alcohol tests are easy to do

The device is ready for use in just a few seconds. A person's sobriety test (active measurement) can be performed at any time. It is also possible to measure the concentration of alcohol in the ambient air (passive measurement). In this case, the nozzle is not needed.

All measurement functions are activated with the convenient OK button, and the two menu buttons are used for navigation.

Versatile and durable

The well-tested Dräger electrochemical sensor incorporated in the Alcotest 6000 has a short response time and a long service life. It works extremely precisely and reliably. Test results are reliable even in temperatures between -5°C and +50°C. The sensor ensures reliable results when measuring high alcohol concentration using active and passive measurement methods.

Convenient to use

Working with intoxicated persons requires special attention and concentration. An important feature of the device is the intuitive control, which ensures ease of use and the smoothness of the breath alcohol concentration test.

All measurement functions can be controlled with just one button, making the examination easier. The readings on the large backlit display are easy to understand, as it provides unabridged messages that guide each step of the sobriety test. The readings on the screen are supplemented by LED indicators and an audible signal. These devices signal the end of the measurement process. The two menu buttons are used to navigate through the menu, where various functions can be selected, such as viewing the results of the most recent test.

Perfect hygiene - Slide'n'click nozzle

The device with a modern design meets the requirements to perform a quick, simple and hygienic test of the concentration of alcohol in exhaled air. The "Slide'n'click" shape of the nozzle is adapted to its correct insertion intuitively even in the dark. The Alcotest 6000 is ready for use again as soon as the tip is changed. The device rejects test attempts with a blocked tip. The test opening cannot be covered, thus avoiding manipulations during air sampling.

Due to the support on the tip, the subject cannot put his lips to the body of the device. In addition, if necessary, the nozzle can be removed by pressing the support. Non-return valve nozzles are available on request.

The predecessor of the Dräger Alcotest 6000, the Alcotest® 5820, is awarded the IF Design Award and the Red Dot Award for High Design Quality.
