The three ingredients of the elite grade lubricant ensure excellent results:
- The highly refined paraffin creates a hard and dry protective coating that repels dirt, removes friction-causing abrasive contaminants with varnish and helps remove chain marks.
- Micron-sized particles of spherical tungsten have a proprietary hollow core to help reduce vibrational friction caused by high torque. The micron size and spherical shape of the particles help reduce sliding friction by creating a rolling effect on the chain surface.
- Ceramic boron nitride particles cover the circuit and form a protective non-stick coating. This ceramic coating works in concert with spherical tungsten to significantly reduce wear and help extend the life of transmission components.
HALO grease is applied using Finish Line's patented Smart Luber applicator. The Smart Luber Applicator ensures that no link is missed when lubricating the chain, avoiding mess, wasted grease and wasted time for maximum results.
Recommended method of use: Shake the taplo bottle vigorously, apply to clean, dry chain and allow to dry completely (6-12 hours). Apply a second time in the same way for maximum effectiveness. After riding in wet conditions or after washing the bike, dry the chain and reapply oil. For HALO WAX to be used optimally during application, HALO WAX must be at a temperature below 10°C.
