The pure mineral plant substrate LECHUZA-PON is the heart of the original LECHUZA watering system and the ideal plant substrate for your indoor plants. Thanks to its mineral components, it has excellent drainage properties and thus ensures optimal root aeration. This means that waterlogging in the planter has no chance! The special composition ensures a stable pH value and acts as a reservoir of water and nutrients, which are released back to the plants as needed and individually. To keep your houseplants looking lush green and promoting growth, LECHUZA-PON is enriched with a long-lasting fertilizer. It reliably supplies your plants with all the nutrients they need for 6-8 months. LECHUZA-PON is composed of high-quality zeolite, pumice and lava and remains stable due to its special composition. Compared to soil, PON does not compact or stick together. Due to the purely mineral basis, the substrate leaves no room for fungi or pests such as fungus gnats. This makes it ideal for allergy sufferers. The substrate is peat-free for nature's sake, making it the best choice for your indoor plants.

Tips: After about six months it is time to fertilize the plants again. With the slow-release and liquid fertilizer PERFECT LEAF, plants are supplied with sufficient nutrients and shine with new foliage.

Planting Instructions:

Step 1:

• Place the LECHUZA-PON plant substrate (included with the pots) as a drainage layer on the separating substrate in the pot. This is important so that water can be transported from the tank to the plant.
• Then pour a thin layer of the desired substrate into the container. It is enough to have your plant in the container at the right height.

Step 2:

• Place the plant in your planter. It is not necessary to completely remove the roots from the soil.

Step 3:

• Fill the container completely with the base of your choice, such as using a PON shovel.

Step 4:

• For the first 12 weeks, water the plant as usual from above, directly on the substrate. Water only as much as the plant can absorb. Make sure there is as little water in the tank as possible.
