KMC X Series:
The KMC X series is designed with the specific characteristics of Shimano, SRAM and Campagnolo systems in mind, so it will meet the most stringent requirements. Carefully designed and manufactured "X-Bridge" technology, thanks to precisely milled plates, allows smooth driving and excellent gear shifting in any driving situation.
X-Bridge:
The KMC Double X-Bridge's precisely defined angles and specially beveled inner and outer plates ensure excellent interaction between drive components. The result: fast and smooth switching.
EPT:
The non-toxic, environmentally friendly KMC EcoProTeQ technology EPT protects circuits from corrosion (the first traces of rust appear only after 650 hours of salt spray testing) for twice as long as conventional rust protection. Each circuit component is treated separately using EPT. This means that the coating is 100% resistant to the effects of water, salt and air humidity.
Another feature of EPT: The very smooth surface gives the chains excellent driving characteristics. In the long run, less dirt accumulates on the chain, which means that chain maintenance is much easier.
