Celeste C-PL filters are Kenko's most advanced filter line. The name of the new series of filters is taken from the Latin word "caelestis", which means wonderful, something beyond human capabilities. Designed with professional photographers in mind, especially landscape photographers, they offer uncompromising optical quality. Celeste C-PL effectively controls reflections from non-metallic objects, removes reflections from water surfaces, increases contrast and saturates outdoor scenes with deeper color tones. The glass construction uses an 18-layer Super ZR anti-reflective coating, an improved version of Kenko's ZETA filter coating, which offers surprising anti-reflection results. This technology results in a reflected light level of 0.3%, which is incredibly low for C-PL filters. Due to the excellent transparency factor, Celeste C-PL filters transmit 25% more light than other filters of well-known brands.
