A great puzzle game presented in an updated form
Abalone is a fascinating game that combines simple rules with a lot of possibilities, plus... contact with fantastically designed game elements!

What is it about?

Two players sit at a hexagonal board with recesses into which 14 white and 14 black balls are placed. Players take turns pushing their balls to eventually push the opponent's 6 balls off the board. You push 1, 2, or 3 of your balls (which are in a line) forward, u, or sideways, where my 2 balls can push my opponent's 1 ball, my 3 balls can push my opponent's 2 balls.
And that's almost all the rules!

Why is this game so adorable?!

- On the one hand, the game looks simpler than GO, but on the other hand, it has a lot in common with it! Also, like GO, it's a lot of fun to work with, with extremely carefully designed game elements. The balls are hard and pushing them into new holes is a lot of fun!
- You can play the game for hours. Games can last anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours! It all depends on the tactics you choose and the way you play.
The heavy balls and recessed board make the game perfect for a train or even a yacht! The swing does not make a big impression on her, the balls sit firmly in their "sockets".

Rewards collected during the game:

- 1990 Mensa Select is a winner
- 1989 Spiel des Jahres - recommendation
- 1989 Golden Ace (Game of the Year in France) - Winner
- in 1988 Concours International de Créateurs de Jeux de Société - laureate

The creators of the Abalone game are French: Michel Lalet and Laurent Levi.

The idea to create a game was born in 1988. The company Abalone was founded and produced its first game in 1989. in September. Back then, no one expected that this game would conquer the whole world. It started with the Cannes International Game Festival, where Abalone was named Game of the Decade. In the years that followed, Abalone conquered five of the seven continents, from Austria, Italy, Spain, Japan and Korea to the United States, Canada and Mexico. The whole world is playing Abalone, today is your chance to join the game!

The history of the creation of the game Abalone
Laurent Levi and his friend Michael Lalet worked in an IT center and invented computer games. A friend's son often visited them. The boy enviously watched the work of his friends' team. Until one day he had the courage to say what was bothering him. He complained about the lack of friends to spend quality time with. Laurent and Michael promised the boy that they would come up with a game especially for him, with which he would never be alone again. And so Abalone was created. The game title contains the game message:

ab is a Latin prefix meaning never
lonely - in English it means alone
